Kali Deepam is one of the most powerful weekly rituals at Muthayil Peedika Bhagavathi Temple, performed every Friday evening at 5:30 PM. Devotees believe that offering lamps to Goddess Kali on Fridays brings protection against negative forces, removes obstacles in life, and invokes divine blessings for family prosperity.

The ritual begins with traditional mantras, followed by the lighting of sacred lamps arranged in front of the deity. Special prasadam is distributed to all participants after the ceremony.
